ファームウェアアップデートの際のご注意

ファームウェアアップデートはサーバを停止させてから行うことをお勧めします。サーバ停止が不可能で、RS232C接続しているサーバ運転中にファームウェアアップデートを行う場合はサーバシャットダウンを避けるため、一度シャットダウンソフトウェアを停止させてください。

ここでは、下記のシャットダウンソフトウェアの停止・再開の方法をご説明します。

ISA UPSモニタ for UNIX
ISA UPSモニタ for Windows
Windows標準UPSサービス

■「ISA UPSモニタ for UNIX」をご利用の場合

UPSモニタ for UNIXを運用しているサーバーにroot、もしくは、スーパーユーザー権限のアカウントでログインします。

UPS監視を停止します。

PDU-5000シリーズのファームウェアをアップデートします。

ファームウェアのアップデートの方法は、取扱説明書「13 ファームウェアアップデート」を参照してください。

ファームウェアアップデートが完了したことを確認し、UPS監視を再開します。

■「ISA UPSモニタ for Windows」をご利用の場合
ISA UPS モニタを停止します。まず、Windowsの[スタートメニュー]から「ISA UPS モニタ」を起動します。 ISA UPS モニタの[UPSモニター停止]ボタンをクリックします。 UPSモニターが停止します。 PDU-5000シリーズのファームウェアをアップデートします。ファームウェアのアップデートの方法は、取扱説明書「13 ファームウェアアップデート」を参照してください。ファームウェアアップデートが完了したことを確認し、UPS監視デーモンを開始します。「ISA UPS モニタ」を起動し、[UPSモニター起動]ボタンをクリックします。 UPSモニターが起動します。

■Windows標準UPSサービスをご利用の場合
UPS監視サービスを停止します。コントロールパネルを開きます。「電源オプション」アイコンをダブルクリックします。「電源オプションのプロパティ」ウィンドウが開きます。 [UPS]タブをクリックします。無停電電源装置(UPS)のページが開きます。 [選択(S)...]ボタンをクリックします。「UPSの選択」ウィンドウが開きます。「製造元の選択」で"(なし)"を選択します。 [完了]ボタンをクリックします。「UPSの選択」ウィンドウが閉じ、「電源オプションのプロパティ」が下のように変わります。 [OK]ボタンをクリックし、「電源オプションのプロパティ」ウィンドウを閉じます。 PDU-5000シリーズのファームウェアをアップデートします。ファームウェアのアップデートの方法は、取扱説明書「13 ファームウェアアップデート」を参照してください。ファームウェアアップデートが完了したことを確認し、UPS監視サービスを開始します。 1.と同様の手順で、「電源オプションのプロパティ」を開きます。 [選択(S)...]ボタンをクリックします。「UPSの選択」ウィンドウが開きます。「製造元の選択」で"一般"を選択します。「カスタム」を選択し、[次へ(N) >]をクリックします。設定を変更せずに、[完了]ボタンをクリックします。「UPSの選択」ウィンドウが閉じ、「電源オプションのプロパティ」が下のように変わります。 [OK]ボタンをクリックし、「電源オプションのプロパティ」ウィンドウを閉じます。
